The Fu (axe) was made of two different materials in the ancient China. The weapons handle was made of wood, and the deadly part is made of iron. The Fu was used by imperial security, and guards. The Fu was used it to threaten or attack anyone who was trespassing. The Fu was originally used to cut wood but it was then adapted to an ancient Chinese weapons in the military.
The Qiang (spear) was made of two different in ancient China. The two materials include wax wood and horse hair tassel to wrap around the spear for more accuracy. The Qiang was commonly used by the Chinese infantry in ancient China. The Qiang was used to throw at the enemy (with speed and accuracy) to spear them with the sharp tip on the end of the weapon.
